Featuring the exquisite art of Milt Gross!

This collection originated in the time before "cells", which were painted on transparent celluloid. In the time before "cells", all the hundreds of individual drawings had to be done on heavy artist paper and filmed, three or four frames at time, by a special movie camera that was designed just for that purpose only. These drawings are not "cells", which were a later development in the animation business. Every single drawing was done by the master artist himself ... no cheating by getting a bunch of art students to do assembly line work such as Walter Disney turned out.

Milt was at the very peak of his career when he had his fatal heart attack at the early age of 58. These drawings are superb, done in ink & poster paint on very heavy drawing paper 11x14 inches in size. Click on the thumbnails to see an enlarged drawing.
