We asked Ed what if anything has been his favorite time period playing drums: "Playing
the songs of the 60's, The Beatles, The Stones, The Yard Birds, you know the whole British Invasion thing. Of course
what I enjoyed most was playing these songs sitting behind my kit with Russ Brown out front on guitar. We had many incarnations
of Classic Rock bands over the years with crazy band names like Thee Chandells, Project Apollo, Class-x, R.A.M etc.
Playing parties and weddings and the sort.
Sometimes Russ would climb behind the kit and I'd get a chance to play a little guitar.
As a matter of fact it was amazing to me the great guitarists that would push me to learn a few lead licks
and the like. They were really great with their patience. I really appreciate the fact that I got to play with
all of them."
