A collaberation of FREINDS Old and New..... RCR is a play on the the name of a band from the early 1990's
that included Ed (Eddie G.) Greenwald and Kevin Weir..... The Band was The Radio Cowboys (the last R representing a Revival,
a Radio Cowboys Revival with Eddie G. on Guitar and Vocals, The Late Great Johnny Fortune on Guitar and Vocals....
Russ Brown on Bass Guitar and Kevin Weir on Drums. Johnny Fortune was a legend in his own right. He
played on hits by major artists (Sam Cooke and Barbara George) played along side Glen Campbell and backed Terry Stafford in
the late 70's and early 80's. Johnny played guitar to make everyone else sound better. Sammy Hagar called him
The Best Guitar Player in the World.
Eddie G... has worked hard all his life raising a family and just enjoying life as God brings it to him, some times a
joy, sometimes a struggle. Yet he is a musician through and through. Ed plays Guitar, Bass, Drums and a
litlle keyboards now and then. He also enjoys singing the songs of many of his musical influences.
Ed has backed the Coasters, The Penguins and The Shirelles on Drums as well as backed Terry (Suspicion) Stafford on guitar
and vocals. Kevin Weir is one of The Best Time Keepers on the Planet. He has backed Terry Stafford
and Johnny Fortune in "Aces and Eights" as well as was The Major Down Beat for The Radio Cowboys in the recent last century. Kevin
also plays drums with Iguana Soup and is currently working on a Classic Rock progect.
