"Consulting Service" is just about any service that we perform that is not charged for on a contingency basis (percentage of savings or refunds).

   It is for things like reviewing and updating shipping descriptions and freight classifications for pre-printed bills of lading forms, determining effective carrier routing for shipments, rate quotations for estimating, purchasing, or shipping departments. Assistance in carrier negotiation for discounts or special pricing or help in instituting controls for verification of bills and auditing procedures within your business are also within this scope.

   Our rate for consulting services is $50 per hour. If your service requirements are of a consistent nature it may be best to set up a regular monthly service/retainer fee. This would be subject to mutual review after 60 days. This can encompass regular freight audit and freight data service work as well. As long as we can effectively estimate the time and nature of your service needs we should be able to set a mutually beneficial monthly fee basis or a per item basis. If later review shows the established fee price should be adjusted we would come up with a new mutually agreeable fee basis.
