Dr. Marina Yam
Dr. Yam has over twenty years of experience in Pediatric Medicine. She had graduated from a medical school in Russia
in 1984. She had been an attending physician at the Regional Pediatric Clinic. After immigrating to the United States she completed her postgraduate studies including
Pediatric Residency at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she was also Chief Resident.
Her pleasant
personality makes her very popular with children as well as young adults. Parents feel comfortable with her up-to-date knowledge
as well as with her sound common sense approach to treating their children. Dr. Yam enjoys performing child examinations
and physicals and talking to parents about the growth and development of their children. Dr. Yam's kind and gentle manner
is especially reassuring to first-time parents.
Dr. Yam is married and has two daughters ages twenty one and thirteen.
Because she has first hand experience in meeting both career and family responsibilities, she understands the challenges other working parents face in caring for their children.
