Resources for Living with the Discipline
of Self-Esteem (or how to find angels instead of tigers)
Nutrition:
For the children of William M. Liebler, it is nice to know that Dad was right about something. Do you remember how he talked about the benefits of raw milk, food grown from scratch,
raw honey as ‘smart medicine’, about the need to eat animals that have been fed the food that God gave them? Did you think that he was a nut? There
are a lot of very smart people out there who think that he was right!! Maybe
he heard about Weston A. Price. The only thing I never heard from Dad was the
need to soak grains and nuts for at least 7 hours before using them in cooking.

Nourishing
Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats by Sally Fallon, Mary G. Enig
This is the information from the web site in book form- along with recipes that teach you to implement the system.
Child Behavior Problems:
If the title below describes your child, then this book will be healing.
The
Explosive Child: A New Approach for Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children by Ross W. Greene
When we see behavior problems,
we tend to blame the person who is behaving badly, but sometimes it is how we treat them.
If we see a person in a wheelchair at the bottom of a flight of stairs, we do not expect them to climb without help-
to do so will frustrate them beyond words. But for a large percentage of our
children, their inability to communicate their special needs and frustration results in explosive behavior. These children have an invisible wheelchair and
parenting them means that we need to help them to learn to communicate and deal with the frustrations of life in small doses.
It is
my heart-felt belief that for many of these children, the nutritional advice of Sally Fallon would help tremendously- far
more for these children than any others.
Boundaries:
If you’ve grown up in a dysfunctional family then you probably need some education on boundaries.
This is a book that taught me a lot.

Is
there an area of your life that is not working? For heaven’s sake- do something!! Think of any area of your life that seems to be out of control, that seems unmanagable. Go to this address: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Twelve-Step_groups . Click
on the links in blue or find the websites for any of your problem areas and look for a question or characteristics page. If any of these characteristics match yours- then join the fellowship. There is something about sharing our wisdom, strength, and experience with each other that helps us overcome
any obstacle that comes into our path. As Donald Trump says: Never Give Up. Do What You Love. Follow Your Dream. And we say: One day at a time, keep coming back- its works if you work it- so work
it because you're worth it!!.
