Nomad Hive Rank / Class structure

Gold=

Hive Matron -  battleship level, rare occasion finale for invasion, will usually be seen as a solar in the hive system.

Red=

Royal Guard / Hive Guard - gunboat and fighter4, guard key locations and are stage 3 of invasion (last)

Orange=

Nomad Soldier - fighter3, areas near nomad system jump holes / gates, also stage 2 of invasions

Black+Purple=

Nomad Pathfinder(?) - fighter2, these show up in the first waves of invasion, seeding subspace for the rest to home in on

Blue=

Nomad Drone - original nomads, standard patrols


To-Do's
  1. Double check all the textures for efficiency (redundant usage between models) and then decide whether to centralize them in one .mat file.
  2. Need to finish textures and finalize effect choices for the custom turrets & missile turrets. Also need to tweak the Hive Matron's new turrets, as my previous idea for having a frame animated texture does not seem possible.
  3. Need to check the SURs on all models, have only done a little testing so far -as I'd gotten bogged down with school and the server where the Hive was going to be introduced shut down so since then it has been stagnant for a bit.
  4. I had intended to get a custom faction done for the Hive, including pilot and ship identifiers -but this really isn't mandatory, it can be for a more complete mini-mod later on.
  5. Map the Matron Habitat, create / choose textures, decide on ALE effects, incorporate Jumphole frames, animate textures, incorporate mesh animations, make working SUR, hardpoint and create layout for solararch.ini, finalize weapon choices.
