I participate in a variety of advertisement revenue sharing programs with some leading retailers, have websites that receive over 100,000 hits per month and am consistently at the top or near the top for some Google keyword searches.

I am also familiar with online merchant tools for selling items on Ebay and Amazon, using PayPal to collect credit card payments and will include a few tips on those topics to easily get you started.

It took me a few years of work to realize some of the programs that are available and how to participate. I became interested in this when I noticed the corporate branding graphics and logos on some blogs and web pages and was interested in learning how to get permission to use those logos to build more professional looking blogs and web pages. I found out and also learned about potential revenue streams as well.

Each time a new merchant signs up for a PayPal Business or Premier account via the link or banner that you provide, you'll be eligible for a Merchant Referral Bonus. Your referral bonus is tied to the amount the merchant receives via PayPal's Website Payment Tools or Send Money.

You'll immediately start earning 0.5% of the new merchant's revenue — up to $1,000.00 USD — for the first 12 months that the merchant has his PayPal account.

Note: The Merchant Referral Bonus program is designed to reward referrals of non-eBay merchants. As a result, payments received for eBay items will not contribute toward the Merchant Referral Bonus.

If you take a look at the ads embedded in, and on the sidebar of, CafeJack, JackCrossen.com, Welcome My Friend, or some of my other web pages and blogs, linked to from my CafeJack blog, it will give you an idea of what you might do with your web pages. I control the content of many of the advertisements on that blog, some are automatically generated based on content by Google and some generated by Amazon. Many of the paintings and artwork I embed in my websites are available for use on your web pages, provided you become an associate of the merchant selling those items. You earn a commission on each sale.

If you search Google for CafeJack or my name (Jack Crossen) or Cafe Jack you will notice those terms on near the top or at the top of Google (and other search engines) hits. If you are interested in getting out a message either for fun, general interest or to potential reach customer that can be very valuable.

Note - A prerequisite to participation in many of these associate programs is that your website meets the merchant's content requirements, for others you can obtain automatic approval. You have to apply to each advertiser individually to begin using their ads/logos and obtain revenue. It's not hard once you learn a few things and it could potentially earn you some spending money.

You can take a look at this page or any other page I have on the web and get a sense for the legitimacy of what I am describing.
