Information on Our Radio Station:

KSVR-FM is a non-commercial student-owned and operated radio station licensed to the Board of Trustees of Skagit Valley College, funded as a student program by the Associated Students of S.V.C., with staff support from Day-Academic and Student Programs. KSVR also receives financial support from individual & business donors.

The mission statement for KSVR is to provide information and news to the community, to provide access for students and community members to produce informational, news and entertainment programming, and to reach populations which are underserved by conventional media.

Honoring its mission statement, KSVR offers a large amount of public information and news programming, in English and Spanish. The volunteer staff is made up of about 2/3 students and 1/3 community volunteers. About 6 student officers with 3 staff support personnel perform administrative duties.

Please visit our schedule and program pages to find out about the wide variety of programming offering diverse and challenging content! Also visit the links below to find out about the licensee, Skagit Valley College, and about the radio and journalism programs at the college.
