We are a gathering of people who want to know Jesus better.
He is the center of our lives and we have come to realize that we are lost without Him. What binds us together is our desire
to create a Christian community of authenticity, love, service, fellowship and fun. We have no stodgy "religious" streak,
just genuine love for God and we want to share that with the people around us. We are not out to judge the world. Jesus didn't
come to do that, so we figure it's not our job either.
We want to have fun with friends. It's not all just about having
a "bible study" - and then you go home. It's about building genuine relationships with people we come to care about. Being
a Christian community is not just about going to church and doing religious things together, it's also about cultivating real
friendships.
We want to be real. Let's face it, we woke up one morning and
realized that life is not easy. It's is not about having all the answers, but about being there for one another when times
are hard. Whether we are struggling through our own brokenness, dealing with the pain of a recent divorce, or find ourselves
out of work struggling to pay the bills we want to know that we won't be abandoned. We're not perfect, but we'll try not to
abandon you but stick with you through the hard times.
We want to believe! We want to get in touch with God's transcendent
purpose for our lives and make them count. We want this life to have meaning and we realize that meaning comes from serving
and worshipping God. We want to be awed by the presence of God when we go to church. We want to know that it's all real, that
He's really there and that there is a real difference to our lives in that.
