Immortality?  Now that’s tempting.  Throw in an army of the dead, and hey, any evil overlord would kill for that package.

Riley Perez and her partner, Jason Ross, work for the clandestine government agency, DUE, where their supernatural heritages and psychic abilities are put to use solving cases that deal with the supernatural.

Riley finds it a lot easier to focus on catching the bad guys than to take a chance with her heart. She won’t make the mistake of trusting again, especially not Cameron Delany, a “Were” that she can never take home because Shapeshifters are people, and “Weres” are, well, not.

Cameron Delany is the alpha werewolf who runs Cerberus Security.  He’s spent a lot of time building his business, and he’s accustomed to being in charge. He doesn’t plan to risk everything he’s built for a Shape Shifter, even one as competent, and attractive as Riley.

Together they must find the spade of Apocatequil, believed to raise the dead and grant the holder immortality, before someone can use it to destroy the world, and before their attraction gets the better of them.
