I'm getting there!
So I've almost finished the bottom part of the tank. I'm over halfway done and I'm getting excited to try some
new stitches. Who ever thought I'd get so thrilled about knitting.
I have a pattern and yarn to start Miss gstringdiva's Scarf. My husband laughs everytime he hears me say I need
to knit a scarf for Gstringdiva. I also need to get in touch with my Mother in law as I think I can go ahead and do
the valance for Savannah and Sadie's room.
I've been working on scrapbooking my wedding album on Wednesdays. I've done so much that I'm starting to run out
of materials. I'm so proud of myself for doing it. Don't ask me where I find the time.

Today I sewed.
I made a shopping cart cover! I DID IT! I had some anger issues regarding poor wording on the pattern, and
an argument with my sewing maching, but I did it! I feel so accomplished now. :D I think I'll take on some
easier projects after this. It wasn't incredibly difficult, but it was quite a job conisdering I haven't sewed anything
beyond a stocking and a pillowcase in the last 15 years.
Last night I was able to go to a friends house and scrapbook for several hours. I set a record. I got seven
pages done. Never have I done that many in one sitting. I'm usually comforting the girls, getting them food, something
to drink, cuddling, etc. Anyone who is a mother knows the drill.
I think I'll try and get more knitting in this week. I'm really enjoying this crafting stuff.

It's been a while.
Life is chaotic. My routine is gone and I've lost my kitchen. You'd think I would have more time to knit,
however that is not the case. I now spend more time chasing my children around and making sure they don't eat construction
materials. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and I have so had my fun. I'm very ready to get my
oven and stove back. LOL
I am still working on the tank top. I did have some time to work on it outside today. It's a bit overcast
but warm. It was a nice day to sit outside and knit.
I have a project lined up for a friend who so generously bought a bracelet from me in return for a scarf. I am
so grateful for her help. The money goes to breast cancer research. So I'm in search of a cute spring/summer pattern.
In other areas, I'm working on my wedding album. I'm finding time to scrapbook at least once a week, so it's happening.
:D Oh and I got a treadmill at a yard sale for $25 today. WOOHOO! Now I can walk when it's raining!

I haven't walked all week
DAMN THIS RAIN! I can't get out with the little ones and even though I have every intention of walking once the
husband gets home, it never happens. Dinner must be prepared, bathtime must happen, bedtime must happen and then it's
dark and too late. It's only one week lost, right? UGH! I'm still working on the tank. It's taking
a while, but coming along. I hope it turns out well. I have a scarf in the wings and am considering doing hats
for cancer patients in order to fundraise. I am just waiting for permission from someone. I want to borrow her
idea with her blessing.
Life goes on though. Anyone that has ideas on how to deal with angry teenagers, please e-mail me. I am at
a total loss. Enjoy your toddlers. They will someday turn into larger versions and hate you.

Me heels hurt
STILL! I have made walking into something I do at least everyday, and I still have problems with my heels hurting.
I really need to get some heel cups for my shoes. My feet are going to fall off or something. It was worth it
today though. I saw an eagle at the lake! It was so beautiful.
Still working on the tank. I had a scary moment a few days ago, and thought I was going to have to frog and start
over, but all is well. It is coming along fine and I am very happy with it.
I'm thinking of doing some knitting to sell to raise funds for my walk in July. That tank would be perfect, but
it's taking a while. That one is Laura's and I don't know how long it would take me to do a second. I'm planning
on starting a wavy rib scarf in a few days, just to try something different. I have the yarn, I just need to get started.
Also on the menu for upcoming projects, is a grocery cart seat cover for Sadie. A loverly woman that I post with made
one. I got the pattern and the supplies, I just need to find the time to start.
I'm trying to convince my husband that we each should get a day to do what we want once a month while the other takes
care of the kids. It seems like he's the only one that gets the days though. :( My scrapbooking has been severly
neglected. I need to work on that, as my mother is going to be bringing me all of her pictures. I'm going to be
a busy woman for a long time.

The Girls love to walk with me. Actually they ride, but they still love it. Savannah will go running
to the door and say "WALK WALK"

|
| The girls are ready to walk. |
I'm walking on the treadmill these days. Trying to get in as much time as I can. Only seven weeks to go until
the 3-day!
