We are the Adams'. Brian, Nikkie, Taylor and Brianna. This picture is a little old. Our children Taylor and Brianna are now 15 & 13.  They are the light in our world and definite bright spot in our day! We are really blessed.

Brian works for Precision Castparts. Precision makes the castings for large airplane parts, small titanium medical parts and various other things. He is also a drum instructor . He teaches here in our home. He really enjoys teaching! God has blessed him with a remarkable talent. To say the least it keeps him busy! He also is very active with the Church playing drums. He is also a wonderful father. He enjoys just hanging out with them doing whatever.

I am working as an Instructional Assistant at Oregon Trail Elementary Ft. Independence. Ft. Independence is a satellite school for 6th graders. Due to overcrowding, Oregon Trail has had to make use of a community center down the street from the main school in order to accommodate the growing population in our area. I love working at the school! I really like having all the same breaks as my kids. It really is the best of both worlds. I have been a stay at home mom for 14 years. My job now is my first since I had Taylor. It is good to be back working again.

This is Taylor. He will be going into the 10th grade in the fall. Taylor loves playing Nintendo, his computer, with his friends, on his scooter.

Taylor has some challenges in his life. He has a form of Autism called Aspergers Syndrome. Fortunately, it is very mild. He has difficulty in social situations mostly. He doesn't know how to 'read' people. He avoids eye contact and talks only of his 'hobbies'. All the things that 'normal' people come by naturally are the things that are difficult for Taylor. He has to be taught how to respond to people. As far as intelligence is concerned Aspies are typically very bright. Taylor does very well in school. His favorite subjects are computer (naturally) and math. He is not a big fan of writing I believe it is because most writing assignments are stories the children have to make up. Taylor is very literal and feels like he is lying when he has to write a story. Also one of the common problems for Aspies is fine/gross motor skills so holding a pencil is a challenge for him.

Taylor is a fun, smart and cheerful child. He is such a delight to us!

This is Brianna. She is 13 years old and will be going into to 8th grade in the fall.

Brianna loves to sing. She is in Chantez Choir at school. She is also taking piano lessons and enjoying learning to play. Brianna also love to act. She was in her first play this past school year. The play was School House Rock Jr. she had a small part and a solo for one of the 4 (or was it 5?) performances.

This year she is hopeful to be traveling up to Canada to participate in the Honor Choir Convention.

Brianna is pure joy. She has an awesome sense of humor and brings life and fun to whatever she does.

Brianna has finally cut her hair! She donated her hair to Locks of Love . What a brave girl!

Now you didn't think I would forget to introduce my Golden and her friend do you? Above are pictures of Rocky (laying down in the first picture and in the waterfall in the third picture) and Lexus. Lexus is our golden girl. She is 7 years old. She is very mischievous, she keeps us on our toes to say the least. Rocky is also 7 but from a different litter. Rocky is our friends dog. We occasionally get the pleasure of taking care of him when his humans are away. Rocky is very much a part of our family and is also Lexus' bestest friend!
