Coaches

The mission of the Prince William Soccer Referee Association (PWSRA) is to train and develop our referees and your objective feedback is an integral part of that. Our Coaches Observation Form is designed to be simple and very general in nature. We need to capture some basic information about the submitter (you) and the game so that we can identify the referee(s). Indicate the number of referees and rate the four basic categories (Promptness, Appearance, Attitude, and Performance). Generally there will not be a need to follow up directly with you regarding any of your observations but this information is useful for us to develop specific training programs for our referees and to know where to focus our limited resources. We accept compliments as well as criticism. We encourage you to file this after every match.

THE ARBITER.NET

We will make available to any PWSI coach the ability to view the games for which we assign (PWSI Adult, all Rec games including SFL, plus ODSL teams -- we do not assign for NSCL or WAGS). You will be given free access to the Arbiter.net in which you can view your schedule and the number of referees we have assigned to your upcoming match. Sign up here.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Respect the referees, even when you disagree. Use our forms to inform us of both good and not-so-good performances. Become a referee. Encourage your older players and/or team parents to referee. Read Myths of the Game and the links that follow.
