My friends and I started the God Box as a theme camp at Burning Man in 2003. We've been ministering as Priests and Priestesses of the Mystic Toad every year since and are considered "the Biggest Mystery on the Playa," according to many satisfied supplicants. At the God Box we offer "equal opportunity mystical experiences to Burners of all faiths, beliefs, religions, and practices." It's a bit of a joke, but also extremely serious, and as we like to tell people who ask, yes, it really is a God Box and there really is something inside it that we are more than willing to let you experience as long as you go through the process.
