My wife and I are enthusiastic supporters of a philosophy developed by AMAZING RACE host Phil Keoghan entitled No Opportunity
Wasted (NOW!). NOW is a way to live your life, identifying and planning those things that you've always wanted (or needed!)
to do -- and then scheduling them. It's about taking that step of not letting yourself find the excuses to keep your dreams
from happening. It's not so much self help for professional goals as it is finding those things that will fulfill you from
a personal standpoint and including them in your ongoing goal setting.
It's about... well, here's what Phil says: "it's about seeking out opportunities to keep learning, exposing oneself
to new cultural influences and fresh experiences, looking at life from new angles, and finding ways to enrich the lives of
others around you."

For example: Cris and I are travelers. Going to new places and seeing new things, exposing ourselves (in a good way) to other
cultures and ways of existing. That's our definition of fun. It also is what we find personally fulfilling.
Below is MY "List for Life".
I highly encourage you to click on the above NOW logo for a description of the philosophy and Phil's own story. His book
was a jumping-off point for me to write my essay on being a Bohemian Hedonist (click on THAT link on my navigation bar, above
left), as well as a contributor to some of our more recent "achievements". To us it's all about the adventure, even
if our goals aren't that adventurous.
On this page you'll be able to follow MY own path. I'll update it every once in a while to keep track of my progress.
You'll see two lists -- the "to-do" list, and the "been there, done that" list.
Go to Phil's web page, get the book, make a list, and -- most importantly -- Do it NOW!
