Rules of Rectangle Outline Sudoku This is a Sudoku variant on a standard 9x9 grid with all but two rules as in a standard Sudoku. The object of the puzzle
is to fill in the whole 9x9 grid with numbers 1 through 9 so that each row, each column and each box must contain all the
nine different numbers 1 to 9 irrespective of order. The two additional rules of the variant are as follows: A. Each of the two main diagonals of the puzzle must have the numbers 1 to 9 irrespective of order. B. Within the 9x9 pattern there is a highlighted outline of a "rectangle" with its width and length containing four cells
and six cells respectively. Each width of the "rectangle" outline must contain all the four different numbers 1 to 4; their
order along the width of the outline does not matter. Similarly, each length of the "rectangle" outline must contain all the
six different numbers 1 to 6; their order along the length of the outline does not matter. 長方框數獨 長方框數獨是除了原有的傳統數獨三個條件之外,另外增加兩個條件: 长方框数独 长方框数独是除了原有的传统数独三个条件之外另外增加两个条件:

AXE AND CHOPPER It is not uncommon
to find puzzlers quarrelling fiercely over the claim of being the first to think of a puzzle.
Let's relax and enjoy this anecdote. Once upon a time,
a blacksmith made the first chopper in a village. His neighbour, who was also
a blacksmith, made this remark when he saw the new tool: "The first tool I ever
made was an axe which I didn’t like to use because it was too heavy. I
was thinking about making a chopper, but never got around to it. Hence, unless
you invented this tool before last year’s Christmas, it was I who thought of it first." Another neighbour
also made the following comment: "I like to bring your attention to the fact
that the idea of using a metal blade to cut things is older than your invention of the chopper. My friend has used the idea
by making an axe to cut trees. Of course, his axe can also be used to chop elephant's
meat and even chicken's meat. However, he seldom uses it to chop chickens because
it is too heavy. The difference between your chopper and his axe is just like
the difference between David and Goliath. In response, the
blacksmith, who invented the chopper, said: "You can say what you like. Nobody
will stop you from using your axe to chop vegetables, chickens and fish in the kitchen." ************* THE
