Troop 690 was founded September 1, 2003 by Scott Hammond and Ken Williams, and chartered by the Kiwanis
Club of Rockwall County, to provide the young men (ages 11-18) of the Lake Ray Hubbard area a place to learn the skills
and ideals established by Robert Baden-Powell.
We are an outdoor-oriented troop that uses the patrol method at all times. Our weekly meetings are used
to prepare for our monthly outdoor activities. These activities will include backpacking, rock climbing, rappelling,
canoeing, orienteering, camping and, of course, hiking. Come help us build the best troop in the country!
