September 17, 2005 - Received black and red Third Eye Concepts Ouija that I won off of Ebay.  Item in perfect condition.  Placed the item on the kitchen counter after opening the package, and placed the planchette on the Ouija.  Asked if anyone was there who would like to communicate.  Instantly, the planchette moved to "Yes."  Actually, the planchette nearly pulled out of my fingers and went straight to Yes.  I asked the entity its name and it said it was Stu.  I asked when Stu passed over, and he said 8.  I should have ask if Stu was human at one time, but duh, I forgot.  Still the age answer answered that question.  I asked Stu if he had anything he wanted to say, but he was shy.  After a few minutes, I asked if anyone else would like to speak.  The planchette went to what "appeared" to be random letters, and possibly spelled out Gigi.  The rest of the letters were jumbled.  After a few minutes, I said Goodbye, slid the pointer to Goodbye and turned the board and planchette upside down to break the communication.

 

October 24, 2005 - Added a few more Ouijas to the collection.  One of the older ones seems to have brought a spirit along with it.  A person in clothing from an earlier period...possibly early 189th century.  So far, benign.  However, the closet where I store some of the Ouijas has noise coming from it at last once a day.  Subtle knocks and rustlings.  The cats are not perturbed and neither am I.  Nothing bad or untoward has happened.  A couple of weeks ago, I pulled out one of those old Ouijas from the closet.  A 40's Fuld board.  After a blessing, surrounding myself with white light, and allowing only spirits who meant no harm to come through, I still had the board spell out H-O-M-O, which I found more amusing than annoying.  I never got a name, but it's possible that a good friend of mine who passed on a few years ago made contact.   I've been using the boards infrequenly because of my busy schedule, but I plan to make time this weekend, what with Samhain now here, and the portal being as open as it can get.
