This page is dedicated to the build up of my current project
car. It is a 1988 Ford Mustang LX 2.3, at least that is what it was originally. The plans are to have it on the
road some day??... When finished the car will have a new 2.3Turbo motor aquired from a 1988 Turbo Coupe. Expectations
are for >350RWHP when everything comes together. Following this you will see the build up as everything takes
place. I will keep you up to date as the project progresses.
I scratched the idea of a deadline as I normally only get about 3-4 weeks a
year to work on it. I am also hitting road blocks with some vendors & a few project changes during the build. I
do not want to do a job twice nor do I want to cut any corners. So it will be completed in due time...
Following you will see the car as it goes through its transformation in

You will also see the engine build up that was performed by Mark &
Frank Harris of Frank's Head & Engine Service. Located in Griffin, GA Frank's is the most complete automotive machine
shop in central GA.
