THE WAY OF THE WOLF
By E.E. Knight
If we want the earth, we’ll have to take it back. Our worst nightmares and all of our hidden fears have
a source and they are running the show now. But the freedom of humanity is not a lost and forgotten cause. There still exist
those who would take up arms against the Kurian Order, their legions and even the humans who found it easier or more profitable
to collude. Lieutenant David Valentine of the Wolves is one man who won’t lie down and let our past be forgotten. Arriving
through interdimensional portals in 2022, the Kurians and their reapers have kept their boot on the neck of humanity for 43
years. This is the story of David, as he grows into his destiny, becomes a soldier and a man as part of the Wolves the elite
cadre who infiltrate and weaken the enemy behind their own lines. Formulaic or fabulous—what do you think?
-Your host tonight is Eric Hardenbrook, please tip generously as
he is also responsible for the cover on this issue as well
-May’s book is Glass House by Charles Stross.
-In July we’ll have a visit from Chris Evans, author of A
Darkness Forged in Fire.
WHY "WATCH THE SKIES"?
Watch the Skies is an informal Science Fiction
and Fantasy reading group of Camp Hill and Harrisburg, PA. We are now in our eighth year of existence. Each month we randomly pick a member's choice to read and discuss. We also spend a bit of time on whatever is new in movies, tv, books and anything else imaginable. In fact that's
mostly what its about, imagination. Call it a monthly field trip through someone
else's imagination with no real rules other than keeping your appendages inside the
windows at all times. Feel free to join us when we meet on the third Wednesday
of every month at 7PM at the Big & unNamed bookstore in the Camp Hill Shopping Center
