The NEOFS is based in La Grande, Oregon and presents the following regular events
and activities:
- Monthly community dances on the second Saturday of each month, Sept. - June with
live music
- Weekly folk dancing (Irish set dancing; Balkan/International; Contra; English Country;
waltzes; etc) every Tuesday evening
- Bluegrass jams
- Concerts
ROUNDALAB, a non-profit educational organization for round dance
leaders world-wide, was established in 1976 by round dance teachers to provide a framework for standardizing various aspects
of the activity such as dance figures, cue terms, cue sheet format and teaching methodology. http://www.roundalab.org/
