At our April, 2009 meeting we voted to dance only on the third Thursday of June, July & August this year. There
will be a POTLUCK dinner at 6 PM, and we will have the business meeting during dinner. The dance workshop starts about 7 PM,
with Dale calling and Don cueing. We always cancel our Saturday dances in the summer.
We are looking into several more events at which we might perform demonstration dances, so please check back for updates.
JUNE
18 (Thursday): Chat'n'Chew (potluck and business meeting) at 6 PM, dance workshop about 7 PM until 9 PM.
JULY
16 (Thursday): Chat'n'Chew (potluck and business meeting) at 6 PM, dance workshop about 7 PM until 9 PM.
AUGUST
14-16 (Friday - Sunday): Muddy Frogs festival, Milton-Freewater.
20 (Thursday): Chat'n'Chew (potluck and business meeting) at 6 PM, dance workshop about 7 PM until 9 PM.
SEPTEMBER
10 (Thursday): DEMO at "Celebrate La Grande". Free hot dogs, ice cream and soda. Music and family fun.
Our demo area will be on Adams Ave at near Dominos Pizza. There will be two sets of bleachers set up for spectators. The
organizers have recognized that the music from Max Square has always competed with our dance music, so hopefully the separation
will be effective. We dance from 6:30 until 7:00.
17 (Thursday): back on our normal fall through spring schedule.
