Dances are normally held at the Fort Union Grange Hall, 63161 Gekeler Lane, Island City, Oregon. It is SE of the city limits of La Grande on the NE corner of the intersection of Gekeler Lane and McAlister Road.

Directions from I-84, exit 265: go northwest on Hwy 30 past the Flying J truck stop. Turn a gentle right onto McAlister Road and proceed north about .8 mile. Turn left onto Gekeler Lane.

Directions from La Grande: go southeast on Adams Ave/U.S. Hwy 30 about 2.3 miles south of the Safeway store (near 16^th). Do not turn left onto Gekeler Lane from Hwy 30 because it dead-ends at the freeway. Shortly before the Flying J truck stop, turn sharp left onto McAlister Road and proceed north about .8 mile. Turn left onto Gekeler Lane.

Directions from Enterprise, OR on Hwy 82: When you arrive at Island City, go straight through the signal light at 1^st Street. You will see D&B Supply on the left. Continue due south on McAlister Road for about 2.0 miles. Turn right onto Gekeler Lane just past the Grange Hall.

The large dance hall has a wood floor.

The dining room is adjacent to the dance hall.

We can seat 40+ people for dinner.

The kitchen features two stove/ovens, refrigerator, microwave, triple sinks, and ample electrical circuits for coffee makers and other appliances. Cupboards are stocked with china plates & cups and metal silverware for formal occasions.

The kitchen and dining hall was repainted in 2007, and the flooring was replaced in 2008.
