This is my 1941 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup. I had a friend about 12 years ago that had the vehicle stored in his yard. He originally had plans to restore it, but got discouraged and changed his mind. He decided to get rid of it because he needed the room. While visiting one day he mentioned it to me. I asked if he wanted to sell or make a deal for it, after a few minutes we had an agreement. Since it was unlicensed and not running, I rushed home to get a tow dolly before he changed his mind.

After doing research, the VIN showed that the truck had been built in Oakland, California in December 1940. Since the production year started in September, that made it a 1941 model, Series AL. The Odometer showed 43,184 miles, not bad for a vehicle over 50 years old.
