Your assignment is to select a site of your choosing that further explains, clarifies or helps demonstrate any or all student learning outcomes. It must be a “functional,” instructional site. No YouTube, MySpace or Facebook reviews.

 

Journalism 105 Student Learning Outcomes:

 

1)      Students will understand the functions, impact, effects and skills of various mass media that include, but are not limited to radio/television, newspapers, magazines, websites and the internet.

2)      Through study, students will become critical thinkers and intelligent consumers of mass media.

3)      Students will gain a working knowledge of the roles of mass communication in society.
