These cards have had holograms added to them to prevent counterfeits, which has been a problem with recent Czech Postal Cards. They all have the same hologram, a rectangle with the post horn emblem of the Czech Post, when moved the emblems appear to change to flying pigeons. The hologram is in different positions on some cards and is not part of the stamp image. The left side sometimes has a cachet that commemorates an event. It appears there will be more issued and I will list them here as I get information about them.

These cards also exist printed for private purposes, but with the required permission from the Czech Postal Service. There are quite a few of these "Private Issues" and the quantity is very low, usually a couple of thousand or so. They are printed on cards that originally didn't have any cachet printed on them.

At the risk of sounding like I won an Oscar, I would like to thank two collectors who have provided much of the information that is presented here, like issue dates, postcard images and translation into english. They are Ulrich Schmitt and Dick Dehner.
