CHERRY PASS DRIVE-IN

Location:Highway 99, near Beaumont (as originally listed).
Year built:Early 1950s
Operated by:Beau-Bann Enterprises, later Sero Entertainment.
Vehicle Capacity:500
Notes:First appeared listed in the 1951/52 International Motion Picture Almanac. Was acquired by Sero Entertainment in 1954. The Cherry Pass made it into the 1970s but its fate can not be verified. It could still be standing or have been long demolished. Anyone know?
(The following added December 2004). It appears the remnants of the Cherry Pass Drive-In survive today as the Beaumont Swap Meet, located at 1501 E. 6th Street. Thanks to this contribution from a drive-in fan whose email I lost. Please email me and I will give proper credit.
