In the City of Torrance Ca., also known as the South Bay had a drive in (single screen) located on Torrance Blvd. n/s just e/o Prospect Ave. in Torrance.
I believe it closed around 1977 or 1978. I'm sure it opened in the early to mid 50's. Torrance Blvd as I recall was widened in the mid 70's and then about '79 or '80 multi-family dwellings were constructed:(
I just remember great times always going to this d/i, but it's close location to Redondo Beach seemed to always have fog roll in....then the windows would proceed to get steamed...haha
