Many thanks to Matt Funk for obtaining the opening date and original name of the Tri-City
Notes:The original name was "Highway 99 Drive-In Theatre." Later renamed to Tri-City. Open as late as 1989. Nice screen mural. Everything,
including playground, still there.

***Updated 3/16/00 -- I am dismayed to report - we drove by Tri-City today and the entire thing is gone. It must have been demolished within the past month as there was still a backhoe in there doing something. The trees on the perimeter are there but all buildings are gone. Knowing this area it will be a mess of commercial buildings or a strip mall soon. R.I.P. Thanks to Desert Tripper Doug for this information.
