Desperately seeking relief from Payday Loan trap!
Hello, My name is Patrick, I am 44 years old and am very happily married and have a great 11 year old son. 2 years ago I developed testicular cancer and Went through surgery and then Chemo Therapy. The Chemo Therapy caused my blood to clot and I experienced Deep vein thrombosis and consequently suffered a pulmonary embolism. The Doctors told my wife to start thinking about making some arrangements because they didn't think I would survive. Well I am Happy to say I did! At the same time my son was going through surgery at children's Hospital to correct Blounts disease, They put staples in the growth plate on each knee. Shortly after, while I was still recovering, we decided to file Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Our insurance paid some but we were about $50,000 in debt from medical bills and the fact that I was unable to work for about 2 months. We thought that a chapter 13 would keep the creditors at bay and we would still be paying everyone off!  Well, The Bankruptcy court set us up with a Bankruptcy Trustee and set up a budget for us, and said I had to pay so much to the trustee straight from my paycheck each week. It seemed to work fine. Until I developed other health issues such as Polycythemia vera and because my veins were so deteriorated from the chemo therapy, I had to have a pic line installed so they could draw a unit of blood from me each week.  This had to be done at the Hospital and my insurance has a $300 deductible and only pays 80% of all hospital visits. Again we had more Medical bills. Since our budget don't allow for any extra bills I began to juggle money around so this and that could be paid and nobody would get upset because they weren't being paid. I began going to those Payday Loan stores, I now have 4 different Payday Loans each are $685 to payoff, at four different places. I have been going in to one and paying off the loan and reloaning, I take the money from that loan and go to the next one and pay that loan off and reloan again, and I do this until they are all paid and reloaned! I do this every two weeks and have been doing this for about six months now. I keep getting more and more behind because of the loan charges. I barrow $600 and have to pay back $685. I just can't figure out how to get out of this trap. I am so Stressed I can't sleep at night, I don't want to go to bed because I know that tomorrow I will have to try and figure out how to get myself out of this mess again. I really don't know what to do! If anyone out there can find it in their heart to send me some help Through Prayer or PayPal, I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless!!
Thank You, Patrick
