The Los Angeles Rose Society, an affiliate of the American Rose Society, is a non-profit educational organization,
serving the needs of gardeners by promoting America's flower - the rose. We provide a community service by encouraging the
time-honored hobby of family gardening, and by promoting all aspects of rose culture through educational programs, shows,
publicity, and participation in rose-related community projects.
Our rose society meets the third Sunday of each month at 12:30pm at Descanso Gardens in La Canada, CA.
Our meetings feature guest speakers on rose topics of interest. We welcome all visitors. For more information
please visit our Meetings page.
We also offer a monthly newsletter which features articles on all aspects of rose care including:
monthly rose care, feeding, watering, exhibiting, miniature roses, old garden roses, pruning etc. Our newsletter is
offered as part of our membership with issues mailed out 9 times a year, and we also offer an email version which is in full
color and has added content. For more information on our newsletter or membership please visit our Membership page.
