United States Department of Veterans Affairs
The Los Angeles Rose Society and the Tinseltown Rose Society in association with the Marine Corps League, Det. 597, are
working together on a project for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Help has been requested to maintain
their rose garden at the National Cemetery on Sepulveda, north of Wilshire Blvd. Being such a worthy cause, we
know we can count on your help throughout the year, as we plan these gardening gatherings to maintain, as well as improve
their garden.
We will be meeting to groom down the roses in anticipation of Labor Day weekend. Please join us:
Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m.
Please bring your gloves, clippers, shovels and rakes. We hope to be done in a few hours.
Location: Los Angeles National Cemetery, 950 South Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles (North of Wilshire Blvd., east of
the 405 freeway) Entrance to the cemetery can only be made through the gate at the intersection of Sepulveda Blvd. and Constitution
Ave.
Park in the lot on your right as you come in the main entrance.
