Tiller steering on a tour easy clone
After the unsuccessful attempt to change to USS, I decided to try a tiller. What I've been trying to get away from is the arms straight out, nearly fully extended position. That gets old after a while.
Using an old set of MTB handle bars and stem and some tubing. I fabricated a tiller setup. As always, there are bugs in the woodwork. Things are never as simple as they seem. My set up is fine for normal riding. BUT, when you attempt a U-turn, the tiller and your knee interfere with each other. Start up is easy. Cruising is a pleasure. Perhaps I AM a praying hamster at heart.
