Frank DiMeo, founder of CrossFit Gulf Coast, is a Certified CrossFit Level-1 Instructor, and is a Certified Personal Trainer
through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is a Certified CrossFit Kettlebell Instructor. He has completed
Level-1 Kettlebell Instructor Training through Kettlebell Concepts and Mike Mahler's Level -1 Kettlebell Workshop.
Frank is a veteran of the the U.S. Army Airborne. This perspective helps him focus on what is most effective
for training, and eliminating the non-essentials.
He also had the good fortune to receive both kettlebell training, Russian body-weight conditioning, and personal defense
training from Saulius "Sonny" Puzikas, a former Soviet Special Forces (Spetsnaz) soldier.
Frank's experience spans several decades in the martial arts. Establishing a full-contact fighting club back in the 70's
showed foresight in what would later become Mixed Martial Arts.
His goal is to provide the most effective training possible drawing from his own experience and that of other dedicated
trainers/ coaches.
