Some great events to start the year.
Wednesday night I had the pleasure of chatting with Charisma, the Punch Ambassador, at the ABC Wine and Cigar Tasting,
and got me a Punch Gran Puro for after dinner pleasure. Too bad they didn't set up the tent outside but it was kind of chilly...
Friday night at Edward's of Tampa we got to taste the Fonseca Cubanos Especiales and I was quite impressed with the new blend.
The Quesada family is doing a great job and I am looking forward to see what they come up with next time.

New events are pouring in
2007 is starting to heat up with new events and I am trying to keep up with it. Update you calendars, mis amigos, and
make a point of showing up at as many events as you can to show our support to cigar manufacturers and cigar shops putting
together these events. See you all there!

Events has now its own page
I decided it'd be better to move the events to its very own page for clarity's sake, so now just click on the top menu
or on the link available on this page, and you'll be taken there. Magic!

Cigar Nutz
No, we are not changing the name of the club, although it does have a nice ring to it... Anyway, this Saturday I went
to Ybor for the Three Kings Festival. and I got to try out these nuts from Lutz Nutz, that actually go great with a cigar. I bought a pack so I can try them again at home and will report on it soon.

La Corona Cigars
Although thick cigars are quite popular these days, there is much to be said for thinner cigars, as I found out while
smoking a La Corona "Coronita" cigar. Excellent draw, steady burn, and a pleasurable smoke put me in the mood for welcoming
the new year.

"Smoking a cigar gives you a chance to sit back and
take things slow for a bit. You can wipe all of the
day's thoughts out of your brain for that short period
and just relax and enjoy the peace"
Ron Andrews, Olde Punta Gorda Cigar Emporium

| Pedro Galvez - Presidente |
Smoking a cigar is nothing like smoking a cigarette. When
you smoke a cigar, you have time to think. It teaches you patience and tolerance, and gives you an appreciation of good company.
