Welcome to our BMW tools website!
My dad and I enjoy working on my 1995 BMW 318i convertible. In the process of performing routine repairs/upgrades,
we found the need to develop a variety of tools to facilitate our work.
Our hope through the development of this webpage is to sell some of the tools we have developed to help you get through
those tough mechanical projects.
Most recently, we decided to replace the water pump on my 1995 BMW 318i convertible only to discover that the water pump is very tightly fitted into the engine block. After some brute force attempts with no success, my dad (the machinist) decided to develop a water pump removal tool which made the job a snap. Since first launching our website, we have made some enhancements to the BMW water pump removal tool. Here are some pictures of the 2nd generation water pump removal tool :
