This is a page dedicated to an instrumental band celebrating the music of
God in the swing and jazz styles.
The Joyful Noise Band is a non-profit group with an all-volunteer staff.
This band meets on alternate Monday evenings in Temecula California. This is a community style band for all
players with at least one-year experience on your instrument. You must supply your instrument, as the band
has no equipment. This band is just forming
and is planning for four scheduled performances each year as follows:
· Easter Concert – This concert is held on or about Easter and celebrates the return of Life after a long winter.
· Independence Day – The band participates in the annual Temecula Independence Day parade held on July 4th. Members are expected to be able to march in a typical marching band formation. If you cannot march, but can play your instrument while being pushed in a wheelchair, you are more than welcome in this event. We also plan on having a Drill Team, Tall Flags, Short Flags, Twirlers (batons), and Banner Carriers. We would like to field a marching unit of 125 musicians and 75 auxiliary unit performers.
· Harvest Concert – This concert is held in the fall and celebrates God’s wonderful gifts to all people.
· Christmas Concert – This concert is held on or about Christmas Day and celebrates the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
