Temecula All-City Community Band!

The Temecula All-City Community Band is a non-profit group with an all-volunteer staff.

This band meets on a yet to be determined schedule in Temecula California.  This is a community style band for all players with at least one-year experience on your instrument.  You must supply your instrument, as the band has no equipment.  This band was founded in 1999 and is planning to perform in the local parades.  Our initial founding principle:

·        March in the City of Temecula’s Star-Spangled Fourth Parade – The band participates in the annual Temecula Independence Day parade held on July 4th.  Members are expected to be able to march in a typical marching band formation.  If you cannot march, but can play your instrument while being pushed in a wheelchair, you are more than welcome in this event.  We also plan on having a Drill Team, Tall Flags, Short Flags, Twirlers (batons), and Banner Carriers.  We would like to field a marching unit of 125 musicians and 75 auxiliary unit performers.

If you are interested in joining the band, please mailto:wwalkerjr@verizon.net for details.

Needs

·        Donated Legal assistance to incorporate as a charitable, tax deductible, not for profit, corporation

·        Meeting Location

·        Instruments in playable or repairable condition.  We especially need low-voice instruments.

·        Uniforms

·        Sound System

·        Money

·        Basically, anything that a band needs, the Temecula All-City Community Band needs

·        Equipment Truck and/or Trailer (trailer tow able by a pickup truck is preferred).
