What is good intonation?
When looking at these charts you may be wondering how to interpret them.
So, the following is my opinion of what can be considered “In Tune” and what is a problem:

Good, this mouthpiece and sax play well, but take some work to play in tune. |

Fair, this mouthpiece and sax will take some work to play in tune. |
|
+/- 25 or greater |
Poor, this is terribly out of tune (¼ tone) and is very difficult to play in tune. |
