I can't believe that a week from tomorrow I will be driving down I84 with a van full of teens on my way to Idaho and Q2008. I guess I can't help but think why? I guess in a lot of ways a trip like this is an excuse to hang out and have fun with a great group of kids and to reward ourselves for making it through another quiz year-for sticking it out to the end. But it's more than that, it's also a chance for us to get away from our routines and give God a chance to speak to us when we actually have time to listen. Hopefully we will let God, and the word that we have been studying all year change us, and allow us to come back and make a difference in the lives of others.

Wow! Here is it the middle of June. That means that we are leaving for Q2008 in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!

So....if you are not going to Q2008, I want you to be praying for those of us who are going. We have 6 teens and 3 adults who will be attending from HNC. Pray that we have safe travels, an awesome time of quizzing and ministry, and that we all grow closer to God.

If you are going, you might want to at least glance over the quiz materials between now and July 1st. Pick a chapter or two and make yourself the expert on those chapters.
