Quiz Meets
|

Each quizzer will be given a scripture portion and a list of the required memory for the year. At the first
practice they will also receive a workbook and a folder. As they complete the homework they can decorate the outside
of their workbooks with stickers. Second Corinthians homework will be coming soon......
At practice each week teens will be rewarded for coming, completing the homework, memorizing verses, writing questions, or other one time challenges such as memorizing more than the coach etc. We will spend some time reviewing the material for the week, learning some verses, and jumping on the jumpseats. Assistant coaches will be available to listen to those who want to quote verses. |

Most quiz meets begin at 8:30am on a Saturday
morning. The cost for the quiz will be $5 for registration and $5 for lunch or they may bring a sack lunch. Quizzes usually
end about 3:00pm and we are usually on the road home by 3:30. The dress code for each quiz is a quiz shirt and slacks or jeans.
No shorts, please.
We are traveling to our first four quizzes
this year. We have never done that before, so it's new to me too. Please be patient if we have to make some last minute changes.
Here is some general information so you will know what to expect.
November Quiz- Is in Coquille. We will leave about 4:00pm Friday
evening from the Redshaw home, stay at the church Friday night, quiz Saturday and return between 9 and 10 Saturday night.
I will provide a sack dinner for Friday evening. Bring money for dinner on the way home.
The December Quiz: is in Myrtle Creek. We will leave about
4:30 Friday night from the Redshaw home and spend the night at the Myrtle Creek Church or in the homes of church
members. We should be back about 8:00pm Saturday evening. Bring money for dinner Friday and Saturday nights.
January Quiz: is in McMinnville. We will not have to stay overnight!!
We will meet at our church, HNC, at 7:00am Saturday morning.
