Family of Walter Tom Smith Get Help In their Search!

One of the things most of us in our group IN Hope have
came to know during our searching for the Missing is how hard it is sometimes to get the Media to come to anything
we are having with our Missing.
Well, Russ McQuaid, Fox 59 Reporter has been attending
our Awareness Events, Vigils, Searches and all he can, with or without a Camera person since Karen Jo disappeared.
Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 Russ went a step beyond.
When I woke that morning and logged on to my computer there was an email from Missing Flat Rock, Indiana's Walter Tom
Smith's Sister Alice McGinnis. Russ had given Alice my email after doing a story on Tom the previous
Saturday. Alice told me that when she and Russ spoke somewhere in the conversation Russ wrote down
my information and her to call this Lady and this group could probably help. Alice has since told Me that
he was real vague but curiosity got the best of her, so she called.
That email and the phone call that day led our group
to leave our Board Meeting on the 31st and go straight to Edinburgh, Indiana to help the Family and Friends
of Tom do another Search.
Tom was supposedly last seen in Edinburgh on September
3rd, 2006. 7 months may not seem that long of a long time, but for his Family, like ours and so many others,
it is an eternity!
This is a Brother, as Alice has told me, that would
not go far. In his car he would not drive more than 45 miles an hour, did not drive the Interstate much, and when he
did All would find out. Tom would not fly either. He pretty much stayed around the area.
Tom had came into some money after their Father
had passed. So, he decided to open a Family Restaurant in Edinburgh, called Walter's Family Restaurant. Only
before he could open it Tom disappeared.
Our search teams did not turn up anything on the Saturday
of March 31st, 2007. Merv Javins used his underwater sonar equipment, foot searcher were out, Dawn and one
of her Recovery Dogs searched, but nothing.
We are still working with helping Alice. As just
like so many of us who have came together, Alice and her Family have became a part of our Family. The Family that
we do not recruit for in our group, but we will surround with our Experience, Strength, Resources and most of all Hope.
Sean is set to fly, as soon as the wind dies down,
over some areas near and in Edinburgh. With Sean's aerial imaging we are hoping that some help can come to Tom's
Family. Just as We hope the same for all of our Missing.
There is a New Reward, as you can see on the front
page. Please see the flyer and spread the word. As we all say, and Alice just said in an Interview with
Channel 6, Someone somewhere knows something, they always do!
