Message from the National Secretary, Nathaniel L. Brown

NARFE has established a new chapter recruiting contest that will award CA$H to chapters that bring in the highest number of new members.  The contest started in January 2009 and will run through July 2010.  Chapters will compete in one of three categories.  Each of the three categories has first, second and third place winners, bringing the total number of awards to nine.

• Category I:    Small-sized chapters with 1 – 100 members.
• Category II:   Medium-sized chapters with 101 – 400 members.
• Category III:  Large-sized chapters with 401 – more members.

The nine winners each will be presented cash prizes (1st place - $500, 2nd place - $300, 3rd place - $200) and will be awarded special recognition at the 2010 NARFE National Convention.
