Please know this, "Christian in Action"
do not advocate predictions or set any dates as to the return of Christ or the end of the world.
Through scripture, we will try to shade some light on
many of the signs Jesus spoke of that will happen before His return. The scriptures are not in any
chronological order, but contribute to world events of today and how they may relate to the teachings of
Jesus.
Dark days like we are experiencing now, I wouldn't want
to be caught short without Jesus!
First I would like to start with what I think is
one of the most important scriptures in the New Testament given by Jesus!
Mark 4:11- 13 And He said onto
them , Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are
done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand;
lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
scoffers (mockers), walking after their lusts (desires).
Matthew 24:3-7 An as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came
unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming , and of the end
of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name,
saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers (various) places.
Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming
of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving
in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man ( Jesus )be.
2 Tim 3:1-7 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall
come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers. disobedient to parents, unthankful,
unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self control) fierce, despisers
of those that are good, Traitors, heady high-minded (conceited ) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof: from such turn away.
