Hi, this is Gladys and Carolyn!
A Mother & Daughter Art business. We live in the High Desert at the southern end of the Sierra Mountain Range; also the Gateway to Death Valley.
We have 2, two-year-old black labs named Emily and Molly, also a 17 year-old mini dashound
called Rocky. They like to keep us company while we paint. Sometime they try and see what we are working on and
that's not good.
We have been doing Art & Craft shows for over 20 years. You can see our schedule by clicking
on the button "Show Schedule."
In the fall we are on the lookout for leaves that are just falling from the trees.
We get our exercise bending over to pick the leaves up so we can paint on them. It takes about 2 years to
dry and get the leaves ready to paint.
Uncle Ray makes most of our frames in regular and unusual shapes from old barn wood
and old fence wood. He also makes our wood items that we paint on and sell such as
wood boxes, tea boxes, shelves with pegs, flyswatter holders, etc;.
My sister sends us the Conks from Washington. We are always on the hunt for stuff that
is different like old oil cans, rusty tin, roofing slates, etc;.
We will be adding more to the site; keep checking back with us.
Please check our show schedule and come see the items in person if there is a show close
to you. We would enjoy meeting you.
Enjoy your tour of our web site.
