Idyllwild Revisited
In 1980, we began work on our house in Idyllwild. We bought an odd triangular-shaped lot on the side
of a hill (at 6,000 foot elevation), and drew up plans for a contemporary, tri-level home and studio.
It took about a year to design it and subcontract out the construction. By Christmas of 1981, we were able to move in.

There will be more of this story next issue...
We enjoyed our Idyllwild home for fifteen years...its warmth, its character, its total artistic ambience... and the many
good times and good company we had there.
But times change, and for a number of reasons, we had to sell the house and move off the hill.
Our hearts are still up there.
Sometimes in the quiet hours of night, I half expect to look out the window and see Tahquitz peak across the valley, shining in
the moonlight.
