We celebrated New Years in our usual style. A few of our members started arriving midweek between Christmas
and New Years. By New Years eve we had about 10 rigs ready to play. The camping areas were very busy but the trails had plenty
of room for everyone.
Saturday the wind picked up to the point that it reminded us of Johnson Valley. It calmed down enough that
we were able to have our traditional bonfire. After the fire burned down the rockets took off. There were so many camps shooting
fireworks it rivaled the forth of July shows.
The most embarassing moment came shortly after my arrival. I went out "notching" with Richard and
Wayne. The following picture says it all...........
