I am afraid that I don’t have a great deal of anything to say, therefore, I have decided to forgo the traditional biographical profile seen on most websites. Quite frankly, I don’t want people to know too much about me – I am somewhat of a recluse. I am not so because I think that being eccentric is cool, but more so because I prefer it that way…always have.

I am Brad Napier in case you haven’t figured that shit out already. I play the guitar and sing in Burning Ohio and aside from my family, I live for music. I suppose that I am primarily responsible for the existence of this group, so I apologize in advance.

Somewhere around 2001, I decided that it would be a good idea to get a band together and make something out of my ideas. There have always been songs and art living within, and in the past, I have either been involved in or lead various musical entities. It was after my wedding to the beautiful Susan Moore (now Napier) that I reacquainted myself with David Dick (Burning Ohio bassist). Combined, we begun laying the foundation for what is now Burning Ohio.

There is plenty of shit on here about the band, so I am going to shift the focus back to me. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t miss decent music being in the limelight. I will never forget being at a high school dance and hearing the metal music that was being played ( I think that it was Ugly Kid Joe ((who were a killer a band)) ) cut to allow time for bands like Nirvana, etc. To me, metal, punk, progressive, and outlaw country are the only genres that matter. I love Black Sabbath, Soilent Green, Motley Crue, U.S. Bombs, Rancid, Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, The Misfits, Danzig, The Clash, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Rush, King Crimson, and Coheed and Cambria to name a few. I do not like the majority of what is being played on the radio these days, which stands to explain why only listen to AM radio when not listening to CDs in my car.

The above statement makes me sound like an old man, I know. I am not old by any means, for I am only 27. I have a good musical sensibility and want things in my life that make me happy and feel alive.

I am absolutely obsessed with the film work of David Lynch and think that his work on the Twin Peaks TV series, Twin Peaks film, as well as Blue Velvet is the best that modern film has to offer.

Most importantly, I am a father of the most beautiful little girl in the world. She is my saving grace, my light, and my strength. Without her, I would not be the person that I am today. My energies first and foremost are raising my daughter with strong values and unconditional love as well as maintaining my marriage to my wonderful wife.

In the middle of all of this, I write, record, perform, and produce music with Burning Ohio. I love creating a new brand of music that most have not attempted in the capacity that Burning Ohio have designed and executed. For those of you, who took the time to read this, thank you. Thank all of those who like our band, buy our records, and support local music. Fangs.
