Registration
Registration is accomplished simply by checking the box on the Regular League Registration Forms indicating your intention to try out for the Travel Team.

Tryouts will be held on Oct. 4 & 5, 2008 at the Middle School

B-3/4 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 3pm - 5pm
B-5 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 9am - 11am
B-6 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 11a - 1pm
B-7 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 1pm – 3pm
B-8 ..... Sunday .. Oct 5 .. 7pm - 9pm
G-3/4 ..... Sunday .. Oct 5 .. 3pm – 5pm
G-5 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 5pm–7pm
G-6 ..... Sunday .. Oct 5 .. 1pm–3pm
G-7 ..... Sunday .. Oct 5 .. 5pm–7pm
G-8 ..... Saturday .. Oct 4 .. 7pm–9pm

This is 2 weeks BEFORE regular tryouts.

Tryouts provide an opportunity for all BCYAA players to demonstrate
their skills for consideration by the coaches.

Fees
$75.00 (in addition to the Regular League registration.)

These fees cover additional insurance costs and entry
fees into up to four (4) tournaments.
These monies will be collected AFTER your child has been
notified that they have made the Team.


Parental/Guardian Obligations
for Traveling Team Players

1) All Traveling Team players must be registered with BCYAA.
The 7 and 8th grade players may choose not to play on the BCYAA recreational team.
All BCYAA players have the opportunity to tryout for each appropriate team.

2) 3-5 hours volunteer time at the Lacey Tournament scheduled in December and March.
If parents do not volunteer during the Lacey Tournament, they will be required to pay an additional fee to cover the cost of hiring someone to fill their time slot.
Additional fees may be required if a respective team registers in additional tournaments.

3) Transporting of athletes to out-of-town tournaments.

4) These teams play competitively!!
Coaches have no obligation to play everyone.

5) Traveling Team practices begin in November and may continue throughout the year
depending on our ability to register for tournaments.
